This secure barrier also knows when you are attempting to access data within your own business's infrastructure, meaning that rather than routing your traffic via the internet and then back into your own infrastructure, it already has a secure direct connection in place and will route your traffic to your business data.
As far as your device is concerned, it is connected to your business network with the same network security, even though it is not in your office.
